*For parents of children who attend on a weds or thurs*

You should have received an email outlining our latest update regarding the current weather warning.
Following a thorough risk assessment and despite our best efforts to keep the Centre as cool as possible we have had to take the decision to close on weds and Thurs during the red health alert.

This decision was not taken lightly and I want to thank parents for their understanding with this. Also thank you to those parents who had already informed us that they were keeping their little one at home.

We are planning to return on Friday as usual.

Just wanted to give an update to parents during this current heatwave we are experiencing.

The safety and wellbeing of all our children and staff is and will always be our paramount priority.

We are taking extra precautions during this unusual weather to ensure children remain safe such as plenty of drinks breaks, water/ice activities, reducing time spent outside, fans, reducing chances of hot air from outside coming into building and monitoring of temperatures inside.

Some parents may choose to keep their child home during this heatwave for a number of reasons, all we ask is that you let us know as soon as possible so we can monitor staffing etc.

We currently plan to remain open this week for all sessions however should this change we will inform parents as soon as possible. We will continue to monitor the situation and want to thank our parents for their patience with this.

Our little ones are looking for someone to come join our team and be a part of their journey!

The children's request list:
Able to provide lots of messy fun play essential!
Able and to read stories and sing songs in lots of funny voices a priority!
Willing to learn new ways to communicate other than through words a must!
Ideally have the patience of a saint and the eyes of a hawk to capture everything that is going on :)
Able to follow the lead of the little ones and turn it into fun learning lessons.
Willing to celebrate each little achievement with enthusiasm and praise.
Ready to give cuddles and reassurance when things get too much for them.
Be ready to expect the unexpected!

Now the boring adult bit :

Ideally a level 2 or 3 early years qualification but if you have the passion, commitment and some SEN knowledge we have the early years training available.
