The Dersingham Village Cinema will screen our latest film this evening, Tuesday 25th March at 7.30pm. Tonight's film is Paddington in Peru (PG). The marmalade sandwich loving bear journeys to South America in search of his missing Aunt Lucy. Cue lots of action and hilarity in the familiar Paddington style. Well worth a second look if you've already seen it, the bear is the star, but he is ably supported by many well known actors....

The Village Centre will host a VE Day Anniversary themed evening event on Saturday 10th May 2025. Don't miss the chance to sing along with 1940s songs, take to the floor for 1940s style dances and enjoy eating some 'street-party' style food....

Throughout the day on Monday 10th February there will be free drop-in sessions in the Centre to inform local residents about the forthcoming switch-over to digital landline telephones. The sessions will be from 11am until 3pm in the Garden Room at the Centre. This is your chance to learn more about the switch-over to internet based landlines, which, despite several delays, is inevitably going to happen and might impact you and your use of your landline phone. For many people the changeover will be straightforward, but it's best to be informed!

Sorry everyone, my earlier post had the wrong date in it. The next screening will indeed be this Tuesday evening, but it is Tuesday the 28th, not the 29th. My apologies! The film for January is Thelma (12). A well-reviewed film with several big names in the cast. Aged 94, June Squibb gives a marvellous performance in this sentimental comedy from writer-director Josh Margolin, inspired by his own grandmother....
