πŸ“£ INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY MARCH 2026 πŸ“£

STRENGTH THROUGH SOLIDARITY THE ONGOING FIGHT!

END GENDER BASED VIOLENCE!

END MEDICAL MISOGYNY!

EQUALITY AT WORK!

END POVERTY!

Some of our focuses this year include addressing a myriad of systemic, social, and political issues fueled by the β€˜Epstein class’ and their cronies. These individuals seek to create a world that is confused and divided, setting the working class against itself while they exploit us.

The day marks a radical, historic moment for working women. In modern times, it’s a day to acknowledge the ongoing fight, strategize, and organize for change.

From headlines about Epstein Island to cuts in public services, the ongoing slaughter of Palestinians, and the environmental catastrophe caused by capitalist greed, we must unite for change.

Misogyny, racism, sexism, violence, environmental degradation, work inequality, poverty, medical malpractice, and gender-based violence are all intrinsically linked within a corrupt capitalist society.

The fight continues. Please join us with your signs, banners, pots, and pans! All are welcome!

πŸ’ŸπŸ’Ÿ We would like to thank the 76 individuals from across the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern, South Eastern and Western Health and Social Care Trusts who responded to our survey last week.

____________

On 22 October 2025, we met with the NI Department of Health to present, among other issues, the findings of our survey that asked the general public their opinions on how they feel Safe Access Zones are being implemented across the north.

____________

Key findings:

- Overall, the survey responses demonstrate widespread public support for SAZ as an essential safeguard for privacy, dignity, and safety.

- Participants generally agreed that the introduction of these zones has reduced direct confrontation and visible protest activity near healthcare sites.

- However, significant concerns remain regarding limited enforcement by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) and the insufficient distance of current zones, which many people feel do not fully prevent visibility or audibility of protestors.

- Respondents overwhelmingly recommend expanding all SAZ to the maximum legal distance of 250 metres, ensuring consistent PSNI enforcement, and maintaining ongoing engagement with service users and healthcare workers to evaluate real-world effectiveness.
