We would like to give a big thank you to Julie Long who very kindly organised a fundraiser in her home to raise much needed funds for the Centre. We rely on fundraising to cover our running costs so we are so grateful. Julie raised an amazing £670.60.

We are still looking for our Santa

Could You Be Our Santa? 🎄✨
Little Orchids is looking for a very special volunteer to help us bring some Christmas magic to our children this December! ❤️
We are hoping to find someone who would be happy to dress up as Santa and visit our children on:
🎄 Friday 4th December
🎄 Friday 11th December
Our children are aged 2–4 years and have additional needs, so we’re looking for someone who is warm, patient, friendly and comfortable interacting with young children. 🎅💛
The Santa suit and plenty of Christmas spirit will be provided! 🎁✨

In Loving Memory of Audrey ❤️
Tomorrow marks one year since we lost our much-loved friend and colleague, Audrey Calvert.
Audrey was a very special part of Little Orchids, and she is still very much missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.
Audrey very generously remembered Little Orchids in her will, and we wanted to ensure that her kindness and generosity left something lasting within the centre she cared so much about.
In Audrey’s memory, we are creating a special area within our room for our children to enjoy, and we have had a beautiful plaque made to mark this space in her memory.
We hope this will be a lasting reminder of Audrey and the difference she made to Little Orchids and to all of us who knew her.
Her kindness, friendship and generosity will always be part of Little Orchids. ❤️
Always remembered and very much missed.

What an incredible achievement! ✈️
Yesterday, our amazing Key Worker, Holly, took to the skies and completed her charity skydive in support of Little Orchids.
We are so proud of Holly for taking on this challenge raising an unbelievable £1878 which will make a real difference to the children and families we support.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared the fundraiser, and cheered Holly on along the way. Your support means so much.
Well done, Holly you were absolutely fearless
