Foyle Hospice Foyle Hospice provides specialist palliative care services for patients with life-limiting illnesses.

Foyle Hospice, situated by the River Foyle in Derry/Londonderry, provides palliative and end-of-life care for patients suffering from Cancer. Patients with other life-limiting illnesses such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson's Disease and COPD are also cared for. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones.

📢Coffee Morning at Skeoge Community Hub, 11am–1pm. Pop in for tea, coffee, treats and a catch-up, all in aid of Foyle Hospice.

📢Roe Valley Support Group Quiz Night at Bethany Community Centre, Limavady, from 7pm. Entry is £5 per person, with teams of up to six.

📢Coffee Morning in Castlederg - Our Omagh & Fermanagh Fundraiser, Emma Gailey, is helping bring the community together for a Coffee Morning in support of Foyle Hospice. If you’re in the Castlederg area, call in, have a cuppa and help support local hospice care. Emma works with supporters, groups and businesses across Omagh and Fermanagh to help bring community fundraising to life.

And behind every rail, till, donation bag and shop window are volunteers giving their time to help make it all work.

Whether you have retail experience or simply enjoy meeting people, organising stock, helping customers or being part of a friendly team, there could be a place for you.

💙A huge thank you to The Ebrington Hotel & Spa for their continued support of Foyle Hospice 💙

Pictured is Gary McDonald, Hotel Manager at The Ebrington Hotel & Spa, presenting a cheque for £5,000 to Sheila Duffy, Director of Income Generation and Communications at Foyle Hospice.
The donation reflects both a generous contribution from the hotel and fundraising activity throughout the year.

We are also incredibly grateful for the many other ways The Ebrington has supported Foyle Hospice, from hosting and backing our events to helping us bring people together in support of local hospice care.

Support from local businesses and organisations makes a real difference. It helps us continue providing care and support for patients and families across our community.

💙A very special thank you to four-year-old Dawson Mooney 💙

Dawson recently came along to Foyle Hospice, where his granny is currently being cared for in our Inpatient Unit.

Wanting to do something kind to help the Hospice, Dawson brought in some of his toys to donate.

It was such a thoughtful gesture from someone so young, and it meant so much to our team.
Kindness comes in many forms, and Dawson’s visit was a lovely reminder that even the smallest acts of care can make a big difference.

Thank you, Dawson, for thinking of Foyle Hospice and for bringing a smile to everyone who met you. 💙

An evening of music in support of local charities 🎶

Strictly By M Dancin’ presents Another Evening with the Stars on Tuesday 17 November 2026 at St Patrick’s Hall, Strabane.

The night will feature Hugo Duncan, Philomena Begley, Owen Mac, Curtis Magee, Country Harmony, Shawn Cuddy, Paddy Tracey, Susan Blee and more.

Doors open at 6.45pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are £15.

Proceeds will support local charities, including Foyle Hospice, Marie Curie, CHS and others.

Bring your green fingers 🪴

Our gardens and outdoor spaces are an important part of Foyle Hospice. They offer calm, colour and care for patients, families, visitors, staff and volunteers.
We’re looking for people who enjoy being outdoors and would like to help our gardening team keep these spaces welcoming throughout the year.

You do not need to be an expert gardener. You just need a little time, a willingness to help and maybe a pair of gloves.
Every volunteer brings something different.

Bring your time. Bring your energy. Bring your green fingers.
