COOKING ON A BUDGET
Tuesday 9th June @ 1030am – 1230pm

A 6-week programme for cooking on a budget. Facilitated by Seana McCafferty in the Apex Centre.

Cooking is a fun and educational way of bringing people together to enjoy food, laughter and great company. If you struggle with cooking for one or two people, want to try something new and have the laughs with Seana, please register your interest as soon as possible. The spaces are limited, as it’s a very popular course.

Huge thank you to Vinnie and Annie for welcoming us into their wonderful Butterlope Farm today.... homemade scones and tea on arrival followed by a very interactive tour of the farm where we fed chickens, lambs and calves. Annie showed us the polytunnel and we picked our own lettuce to grow at home! A thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all and the rain stayed off for most of it!

We attended the Everglades Hotel today for a floral workshop provided by John Paul. It was fabulous and we learned so much from John Paul about how to care for our flowers and how to design our easter baskets.

Today we celebrated International Women's Day here at the Centre with some of our wonderful, resilient, caring and supportive clients. We shared stories and lots of laughter!

Fun afternoon spent at Brunswick Bowling...lovely carvery meal followed by a very competitive game of bowls....congrats to Tommy for a great win!

We held our Christmas Raffle yesterday and raised £777.50! Thank you to everyone who supported us and donated the wonderful prizes; we are very grateful. Well done to everyone who won prizes. All winners have now been notified.
