Foyle Pride would like to extend our deepest condolences to our dear friend and former chairperson Eimear and her wife Andrea on the sad death of Eimear's dad Rodney Willis. A friend, neighbour and ally. Rodney will be kindly remembered for his camaraderie, his support and his wonderful personality. Condolences also to his extended family. Rest in power 🌻

Our Couch to 5K programme is back 🏃

We’re excited to kick off another 12 week running programme.
Whether you’re starting from zero or just trying to get moving again, everyone is welcome.

📍 Meeting beside Sainsbury’s on the Quay
🗓 Starts Tuesday 2nd June
⏰ 6PM weekly

Goal: Park Run together on 22nd August 💪

We are super excited to share our Pride in Sport Programme starting this Wednesday!!!! 🏀🏸🏃‍♀️🛶🧗‍♀️🥅🏐🏈

We have 6 taster sessions in different sports, working with different sports clubs across the Council.

We are also running our couch to 5k for the second year running 🏃🏽‍♂️due to popular demand. This year it will be a 12 week programme with the aim of doing the Park Run on the 22nd August.

Programme dates 🗓
Couch to 5k starts Tuesday 2nd June at 6pm meeting at Sainsburys car park, and will run for 12 weeks on Tuesday evenings

Taster sessions 😋
Badminton 🏸 Wednesday 27th May at 7pm in Bishops Field Sports Hall, Creggan

Wall climbing 🧗🏿‍♀️Wednesday 3rd June at 7pm in the Foyle Arena * places limited so pre booking essential

Canoeing 🛶 Wednesday 10th June at 7pm * places limited so pre booking essential

Basketball 🏀 Wednesday 17th June at 7pm in Bishops Field Sports Hall, Creggan

Boxing 🥊 Wednesday 24th June at 7pm in Springtown Boxing Club, Ballymagroarty

Rugby 🏈 Friday 3rd July at 7pm in City of Derry of Rugby Club, Judges Road followed by an after party with DJ, Barbeque and special guests

Please note we have seperate registration forms for both Wall Climbing and Canoeing as numbers are limited for these sessions.
