Pride means a deep sense of satisfaction and self-respect derived from one’s own achievements or qualities.

Honouring those principles and celebrated every year in June, Pride is a month-long global observance that celebrates LGBTQIA+ culture, achievements and, above all, resilience, while advocating for equality around the world.

Throughout June, we join the celebration of Pride while remaining committed to helping women and women-identifying individuals build confidence, strengthen their skills and move forward towards economic mobility and success.

Dress for Success Northern Ireland is looking for volunteers to join our amazing team across our Belfast and Derry/Londonderry boutiques!

We support women into employment by providing free professional styling, workwear and interview coaching and we need passionate people to help us do it.

Volunteer roles include:
Sorting donations & preparing stock
Organising the client wardrobe
Styling clients for interview
Coaching clients for interviews

Have you got professional clothes hanging in your wardrobe that have never been worn? Still have the tags on? If you're not planning to wear them, why not donate them to Dress for Success NI?

We give women across Northern Ireland free professional outfits and styling support as they prepare to enter or return to work - and we rely on the generosity of people like you to make it happen.

What a brilliant session this week! 👏

We were delighted to welcome 11 students from North West Regional College for an interview styling experience at Dress for Success NI.

Each participant worked with one of our stylists and left with two new professional pieces to wear to their next interview — completely free of charge.

A massive thank you to NWRC for making this happen. This is exactly the kind of partnership that makes a real difference. 💪

A massive thank you to Invest Northern Ireland for their wonderful donation to Dress for Success Northern Ireland! 💛

We received an amazing haul of clothing and accessories — including shoes and handbags which we were particularly short of — along with dresses, tops, trousers, coats and jumpers. The photos really do say it all!

This generous contribution will go directly towards helping women across Northern Ireland feel confident and ready as they take their next steps into employment. We're so grateful to have partners who share our mission. 💪

Volunteer Opportunity | Dress for Success Northern Ireland
Dress for Success Northern Ireland, operated by Women's Aid Foyle, is currently recruiting volunteers for our boutiques in Derry/Londonderry and Belfast.

We're looking for motivated individuals who are organised, have an interest in fashion, and want to contribute to something with real social impact. Volunteers play a vital role in helping women access professional clothing and styling support as they take steps towards employment and economic independence.

Volunteer tasks include:
📌Sorting donations and preparing stock
📌Stock management and boutique organisation
📌Putting together capsule outfits for clients
📌Supporting styling sessions

We offer an inclusive, team-focused environment where volunteers develop practical skills while making a meaningful difference to women in our community.
