Derry Call Centre Campaign, or DCCC for short, is a coalition of trade unions, community groups, and individuals who are working to improve the rights of call centre workers in Derry. We are calling for call centre workers to be given the right to join a trade union, the right to collective bargaining, and the right to a living wage. We were started in 2023 by Aegis the Union and are supported by
TUC, Nic-ICTU, Derry Trades Union Council, and many community groups. We can now count The Derry City and Strabane District Council as well as the local parties Sinn Fein, DUP, Alliance, UUP, SDLP, PBP, Aontu, and Independents among our supporters. We are not politically aligned with any party but welcome support from any group that aims to help improve the conditions of call centre workers in Derry. We are working to raise awareness of the issues facing call centre workers in Derry and to build support for our demands. We are also working to develop a strategy to achieve our goals. We are calling on all call centre workers in Derry to join us and to demand their rights. We are also calling on the public to support us and to pressure the government and employers to take action to improve the conditions of call centre workers. We are a positive and progressive force for change in Derry. We are working to make a real difference in the lives of call centre workers in Derry.
