🚆 Chat Tea Train – Loneliness Awareness Week 2026 💜

We’re delighted to invite you to our next journey from Waterside Train Station, Derry/Londonderry to Portrush on Tuesday 16 June 2026, supporting Loneliness Awareness Week.

This special event is open to people aged 60+ with a travel pass, offering a chance to get out, meet new people and enjoy a relaxing day by the seaside.
🕘 Arrive: 9.30am (parking is limited) to enjoy some entertainment
🚆 Depart: 10.38am | Return 2:00PM for arrival at 3:22PM
🏖️ Enjoy free time in Portrush for refreshments, shopping or a stroll
✅ To attend, please register your interest with your GP Practice Social Work Team by 12 June.

💬 The Chat Tea Train helps reduce loneliness and isolation, creating opportunities to build friendships, share stories and enjoy a day out together.

⚠️ Please note: There is a short walk at Coleraine for the connecting train, which may not suit those with mobility difficulties. Carers are welcome to attend, however staff cannot provide one-to-one support.

🚗 Free parking is available at the station (please retain your ticket), but spaces are limited — car sharing or alternative transport is encouraged.
