🐰Columba Camp Easter 2026

🌟Join us over the easter break for an amazing week of fun activities, trips, and workshops. The Columba Camp is designed for all young people aged 12-18 to explore Columba's history, make new friends, and enjoy fun trips and workshops over Easter Break, the camp is completly free for all participants.

✨During the camp participants will explore the life and legacy of St. Columba, visit Wild Ireland, Lifford Jail tour & Escape room, and Lazer Tag @ Lock-N-Load, with plenty of Fun Games, Workshops, and learning inbetween.

📍Columba Camp runs from Tuesday 7th till Saturday 11th of April from 10 am till 2pm.

🏬Drop off and Pickup Daily @ 12-14 The Diamond Derry/Londonderry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance and administration experience who is looking for a flexible part-time role within a community-focused organisation making a real difference locally.

The Role Will Include:
• Maintaining financial records and accounting systems (Sage)
• Payroll administration and statutory returns
• Budget monitoring and financial reporting
• Managing project finances and grant drawdowns
• Supporting audits and financial controls

“I have never heard of a positive story that the news has put out on young people, it always seems to be negative”

Columba Camp – Day One & Two Recap 🌿

We’ve kicked off Columba Camp with two great days full of laughs, teamwork.😊

Day One started with some fun team-building games a few challenges, lots of laughs, and maybe some competitive streaks coming out 👀 Then we headed to the Tower Museum, where we stepped into the past and learned a thing or two along the way. 📚🏰

Day Two took us behind bars at Lifford Jail. The escape rooms tested our teamwork and brainpower… some of us escaped in record time, and others might still be trying to crack the last puzzle! 🔐😂

⭐️Week 4 at Synergy ⭐️ Our Big Residential at Gortin! 🏕️

What a highlight! This week was all about teamwork, trust, and connection. From designing our giant team crest to taking part in powerful group activities, everyone stepped up and brought their A-game 💪

We also dug deep during inspiring social action sessions, where the young people shared incredible ideas about how they want to make a real difference in their communities. Their passion and creativity blew us away! 💡❤️

And yes… the legendary UNO: No Mercy made its epic return. Things got intense 😅🔥

We’re so proud of the energy, leadership, and friendships that have grown throughout the programme. Let’s keep it going! 👏👏
