Following many requests by participants at our annual Yes! You Can Sing Festival, Music Kin are excited to announce that we are starting a weekly, inclusive singing session right in Derry's city centre!

Starting on 1st November, we will meet every Sunday from 11 a.m. at the fully accessible Rainbow Project Studios (formerly EchoEcho Studios), located on the historic walls above Lower Magazine Street, just up from Magazine Gate and a stone's throw from the Guildhall and bus station.

After a hot drink and some treats, we will warm up our voices - guided by Music Kin song leaders Anna, Maeve or Victoria - learning by ear and singing diverse songs and spine-tingling harmonies that will lift your spirits, free your mind and let you just enjoy the act of singing!

Sessions can be booked in advance in 2 x 8-week blocks (1st Nov-20th Dec and 10th Jan-28th Feb) or there is a drop-in rate of ยฃ7 per session. To book, go to https://wegottickets.com/f/30314

If you have any access needs, please let us know by emailing [email protected] and we will be happy to support you.

Music Kin is grateful to the Arts Council of Northern Ireland National Lottery Project Funding Programme for their support of these sessions as an expansion of the Yes! You Can Sing Festival 2027.

So so proud of our Islamic kids choir last week! - Their first performance ever and it was in front of 200 people at St Columb's Hall! - It took a lot of bravery to sing in front of so many people first time! - But they did so so well!
