We’re excited to launch My Autism Passport — a free app designed to help autistic people communicate what matters to them, quickly and clearly.

The app lets you create your own personalised Autism Passport with information about your communication, sensory needs, routines, support preferences and the things other people should know.

You can:

• Create and save your own Autism Passport
• Keep multiple passports on one device
• Use Quick View when you need to show important information quickly
• Share your Autism Passport by email or PDF
• Use communication cards for difficult situations
• Create private “Prepare Me” plans to help with upcoming events or changes

Your information stays on your device and you decide what you share.

My Autism Passport is available now on Google Play and will be coming to the Apple App Store shortly.

We have seen a huge spike in attendance across all of our support / social groups recently. which is great but comes with its own challenges, especially around organising. So if you are planning on coming along to our Family Groups, Teen Social Group or Adult Social group can we please ask that you remember to book on :D

Not only does it help us plan and mange attendance it also gives us evidence for further funding and the possibility of groups closer to where you are!

On another note - Our Teen group is now every 2 weeks!

🎉 **We’re delighted to share some exciting news!** 🎉

ASD Helping Hands has been recognised as **Highly Commended in the Individual Award category of the Flourish Awards**. 💙

We’re incredibly proud to receive this recognition from the Young Person and Parent Carer Judging Panel, who highlighted the work we do to support children and young people in Norfolk to flourish.

Everything we do is about supporting autistic people and their families, creating opportunities, building confidence, reducing isolation and making sure people feel understood, welcomed and supported.

This recognition belongs to everyone who makes ASD Helping Hands what it is — our team, volunteers, supporters, families, children and young people. Thank you for being part of our community and for trusting us to be part of your journeys. 💙

We want the Directory to be as useful as possible — and that means making sure local organisations, services and regular groups are included.

Join us for our Dereham Family Support Group this Saturday.

Our Family Support Group is a safe, welcoming and supportive space for families of children with or without a diagnosis of autism.

There will be a range of inclusive activities, including:

🎨 Arts and crafts
🌈 Sensory play, including use of the sensory room
🧘 A calm, quiet area
🎲 Group games and more

Our friendly team will also be there to offer support, advice and a listening ear. Siblings and extended family members are very welcome too.
