The countdown is on for the opening concert of the Dereham Blues Festival and what a way to start the weekend with the phenomenal Will Wilde - Harmonica headlining! 💙🎶

Known for his jaw-dropping harmonica playing, explosive live shows, and blues-rock energy, Will Wilde has built a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting blues performers. Blending powerful vocals with lightning-fast harmonica skills, he delivers a live performance that has wowed audiences across Europe and earned praise from blues legends alike.

What a fantastic day in Dereham! 🎶☀️
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the town, enjoy the atmosphere, and celebrate Dereham Day together. It was amazing to see Dereham buzzing with energy, smiles, and community spirit all day long and the weather was absolutely glorious!
The programmes for the festival were given out in their hundreds and it was fantastic to see people reading them as they listened to the jam by Norfolk Blues Society members. Here’s a special notice about super opportunities for blues musicians to jam together and help to promote Dereham Blues Festival and if you dont play but love the blues live then come and support our fabulous players.

At each of the following events will have a promotion team giving out programs and information while in our live music gazebo anyone who wants to play live music unplugged or otherwise as we now own a generator is very welcome indeed. These are always well attended events with thousands of folk passing by and some who linger longer to enjoy live music . Each event is different

Sat 9 May - Dereham day - all jammers welcome anytime between 10am and 4pm. WE have been promised a great location now we have our own power source

Sat 30 May Gressenhall Fete – As above from 1 to 3.00 then on stage for full on jam 3pm to 4.30pm

And for those of you who are Undergrads there is of course Ellenor Fenn... Could do with some technical expertise on the day if anyone can assist?

Please share the posters online especially if you intend taking part.

There may be other opportunities such as the Windmill to promote NBS as the summer gets nearer and I will keep you all posted
