Getting set up for your Thursday morning at the fridge 😁 anyone can use a community fridge, no booking or forms. We're inside Green Pastures bookshop 20 Norwich Street Dereham, via the rear entrance into the community hub. 🎉 9.30am free drinks are served, 10am fridge access. Closes at 1pm. Be aware if you arrive before 10am you will very likely be in a queue so give yourself enough time for your visit 👍🏼

Thank you and Goodbye ❤❤❤❤
Hi I'm Athena, and I have been running Love Dereham (which includes the Community Fridge) for the last 4 years, but I have a new job and this is my last week. It's been a wonderful privilege and blessing to support so many people in our town and to work alongside our fabulous, hardworking volunteers and local partners. I will always fondly remember what we all achieved together for our community 🥰
A message from the Love Dereham trustee board:
We are writing to you all to let you know of some significant changes that are happening within the structure of Love Dereham.
As you know, Athena will be leaving us and we are sure you will join us in wishing her every happiness and blessings in her new role.
There have also been some changes to the Trustee Board with a new group of trustees voted in recently. You may know some of us from volunteering at either the Community Fridge or the Community Lunch. We are stepping in as interim trustees to ensure that there is continuity in the running of the Community Fridge, Let's Chat and the Community Lunch.
Initially, we are not looking to recruit someone to take Athena's place, so the other LD projects (Emergency Food Parcels, Warm Places Timetable, Lidl Christmas Toy Scheme and 1:1 work with service users) won't be continuing.
Please feel free to contact the new trustees and you can do that through this email: [email protected]
Thank you all again
We look forward to working with you all
God Bless,
Love Dereham Trustees
