Thanks to everyone who turned up this morning to the Christmas Adult/Youth baker doubles, I hope you all had fun. I know I should feel ashamed at winning my own tournament but unfortunately I do not 😂 (being partnered with Louie I always had a good shot!). Well done also to Mike and Ethan taking 2nd place and Steve and Isaac in 3rd.
Thank you to all the athletes and parents for your support this year and to Strikes Bowl Dereham for hosting us each week. I hope you all have a great Christmas and New Year and see you in 2025!

Last week Grace improved her PB game yet again with a 163 game, and this week Toby shot a new PB game of 121

We would like to wish huge congratulations to Grace for getting a PB game of 159 on the 9th and then to the newest member of MH900 YBC Ethan for bowling a PB game of 127 on Saturday! Well done keep up the great work 🎳

Congratulations to everyone. Fantastic bowling all weekend, so many PB’s (I’ll add these to a separate post at some point) and it was great fun!

Are you an aspiring coach? That can spare a couple of hours a week every Saturday morning? There is a course running in Dereham starting next week with perks for joining our team!

Day 2 of Nationals

Well... Early start today, at the bowl for 8am for singles and doubles.

Toby shoots a PB Series of 279, only to beat it again in the doubles with his first series of 3 100+ games (one of which equaled his PB game of 119) with 332!

Jamie provided support with a huge PB game of 192 and a massive 474 series. Incredible efforts by these two. Both have worked so hard in the past 6 months. And currently 189 pins ahead of 2nd place in their division! 😅

Isaac and James went for it in the doubles with a huge set of 872. Isaac went 173, 173, 143 for a new PB Series of 489.

And yes, we were noisy, yes, we do support of athletes, and we do celebrate our achievements!

Nationals Day 1 at GObowling Dunstable

Some absolutely fantastic bowling today.

Our 3 (4 man) teams started the day off on a very challenging 44ft (30ml) pattern.

Highlights being a fantastic 705 series from Louie, an excellent performance from Grace with a new PB series of 428.

Next up, singles for half the team.

Highlights once again from Louie, continued with a 665 series, Yola with a 615 series, and Henry with a 434

Finishing with doubles.

Henry and Avan shot an impressive 1107 series that should easily take Top spot in Division C
Louie and Kallum shot 1286 to take the top spot in Division A

And with Louie shooting a 2057 averaging 228.5 was just short of a National Record.

MH900 Youth Bowling Club showing exactly how we do it! To say I’m super proud of every single one of our athletes is an understatement.

We return tomorrow morning for the remaining singles and doubles squads for Isaac, James, Jamie, Toby, Grace and Lily-Mai

We have 2 athletes in Finland this weekend

Kallum Peach Bowled 1383 in his first squad and currently sitting well within the cut in 12th place.

Avan Rhodes Has arrived and bowls soon!
