An area of the village hall car park has recently been laid with 50 sqm of tarmac (Maximum permitted by the council due to drainage restrictions) to create a disabled parking space plus a couple more general spaces and a level path for wheelchairs and pedestrians. The new path is safer as it’s separate to the car entrance.

The village hall committee were grateful to receive Funding from East Midlands Airport to help towards the cost of the materials.
In the near future the aim is to lay gravel over the rest of the car park to make it more even.

The village hall is a registered charity (number 520532) managed by a committee of volunteers, both elected members and members of the groups who regularly use the village hall.

Come along to Weston on Trent Village Hall on Sunday 8th February, we'll be serving breakfast cobs, Teas and Coffees... Cakes too, and we'll have some Weston on Trent History displays for you to have a look at- All very welcome ! we are raising funds for our chosen charity Hannah's Hope Charity ... please share!
