Why not take a look at our column piece in today’s Derby Telegraph. Where we highlight the simple but powerful benefits of spending time in local green spaces, and sharing the experiences of pupils from Ivy House School who’ve been getting outdoors and connecting with nature and the link to the Annual Public Health Report written by Derby City Council Director of Public Health - Robyn Dewys.

At Greener Littleover, we’re passionate about making access to nature available to everyone. This piece reflects what we often see first-hand:
-time outside can support wellbeing
-it helps build confidence and independence
-and it gives young people a chance to experience their local environment in a meaningful way

We’re especially proud to feature how Ivy House School pupils have been engaging with green spaces, showing just how valuable these opportunities are for everyone.

If you’ve got a favourite local green space, or a story to share, we’d love to hear it. Let’s keep encouraging more people to get outside and make the most of what’s on our doorstep.

Welcome to the Blagreaves Community Partnership Page.

This page is here to help our community stay connected. We use it to share and promote events from our partners throughout the year, highlight opportunities to get involved with local groups and organisations, and keep residents informed about what’s happening across Blagreaves.

You’ll also find key updates from the NHS, Derby City Council, and council partners, along with other important local information that supports the wellbeing of our neighbourhood.

The page is run by the Blagreaves Neighbourhood Partnership — a group of residents and organisations working together to improve life for everyone who lives in the area. Our partnership includes Derby Homes, Derbyshire Police, the Safer Neighbourhood Team, and the Community Safety Team. We’re also supported by Derby City Council staff and our local councillors.

The partnership meets every two months on a Friday morning, and we stay in touch by email between meetings to share updates and support each other’s work.

If you’re interested in joining the network or becoming involved, send us a message and we’ll connect you with our Neighbourhood Locality Manager, who can share meeting invites and further details.

Let’s work together for the benefit of our whole community.
