🚨 Book your place at our next Volunteer Coordinators' Forum! 🚨

A fantastic opportunity for Volunteer Managers, Leaders and Coordinators to come together to network, support one another, and share ideas, challenges, and best practice.

📅 Wednesday 16 September 2026
⏰ 12:00pm – 2:00pm
📍 Oddfellows, 32 Charnwood Street, Derby, DE1 2GU

The session will feature guest speakers from local organisations who will share their experiences of working with volunteers. There will also be plenty of opportunities to network, exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and learn from one another.

💬 Word of the Forum: Recruitment
This forum will focus on recruitment, giving attendees the chance to share successful approaches, discuss current challenges, and explore new ideas for attracting and engaging volunteers.

Be a Good Neighbours Volunteer here at Community Action Derby and make a positive difference in your local community - even if you can only do one hour a week, your time is appreciated!

‼️Good Neighbour volunteers- WE NEED YOU! ‼️

📌We are seeking dedicated and passionate volunteers to sign up today to join our team of Good Neighbour volunteers to support members of the community requiring support with loneliness, isolation or with small tasks.

🤝Examples of the things our volunteers support with:🤝
- Food Shopping
- Check in and chats either face to face or over the phone
- Light gardening/ house tasks
- Transporting people to medical appointments
- Dog walking
- Help using digital devices

⏳If you can offer even just 1-hour of your time to volunteer with us, we would love for you to get involved!⏳
