Findern Warm Space

What a Warm Space we had today! Around 60 people fed with Turkey and stuffing cobs, pigs in blankets, home made apple crumble courtesy of Rosemary Noblet, Birds Mince Pies courtesy of Jan Howell, and chocolate log. Mulled wine and Baileys coffee too. We had a 4 man accapella group, organised by Lynette Nash. Many thanks to all that came as well as today’s volunteers who allowed the regular volunteers to enjoy themselves. See you all on January 6th. Merry Christmas from us

Please have a read of the article about Findern Warm Space that was in Rural Action Derbyshires, RADzine magazine. It really shows how important Warm Space is to our community. Everyone is welcome, Tuesday 12-2 pm, a warm meal, a warm drink, a piece of cake and best of all some warm company. Free, but a small donation is always welcome.

Officer Bob walked all the way from Hilton this morning, dropping in on villages on his way. He popped in to our Warm Space to reassure local residents regarding how low the crime rate is in Findern.
