Hi Facebook friends and family, long time, no hear, no see. Some of you, I know it has been very long. I traveled to Zambia for two weeks, and it was amazing to have two weeks off work to go home. I had a good time with my family, especially spending time with my mother and doing shopping. Also, to get to know my students and the amazing teachers at our school, Mavis Newman Academy. It was so good just to see the surprise on their faces of parents and pupils when I arrived in Zambia in the morning. They couldn't believe it; they thought they were dreaming, but God was faithful, and God did it all for me.
I traveled on the plane like a VIP from Gatwick until Lusaka, Zambia, just a few days to do everything in one go, but I thank God to see a smile on my mother's face. Apart from my businesses, in that time, I did a little bit of charity work and a lot of surprises. Some people didn't expect a lot of empowering. Some young people who I saw potential in, for some years, they've been working with us as charity work, not even being paid. I remember they never asked for any help from me, but I thank God now I can help them as well. So, it's been a great year 2023, and now I'm looking forward to 2024, where we're gonna do more work and more surprises.
My God, I love the charity. Now it's been about 13 years since we've been running this charity work, and everyone keeps asking, 'Are we still running the charity work?' Yes, we are still running charity work, and it's been amazing being independent in charity. One of the amazing things is now we have picked up a few churches that we can work with. I just like to say thank you so much for everyone who supported us, who have been there for us and have put their time into this ministry. It's not just a charity; it's a ministry. You have really helped a lot of people. We can't do without your help. You are the ones who are doing the work, not me or my team, but I still have to thank my team. They have done a great job. Just being here in the UK and then being in Zambia, communicating on WhatsApp or email or Facebook with them, seeing how we can do and how we're going to work this year. It's been amazing.
Going there last two weeks, spending time with them, it was amazing too, just to hear the views and to see how well we go from here for 2024. We have to bring something different, which is coming from different areas and different places of Zambia which we can't reach, but we have churches who are there to support us and to bring some things to our attention. Especially, big thank you to my teams who have been working very hard, and I'm just gonna show you some few pictures with the new team members we have at the moment. I didn't stay long, but I had a lot of work to be done in Zambia and looking forward to working with you. Thank you so much again for supporting, and happy new year 2024. It will be amazing and great and a blessing. May God bless you and thank you very much again for your support.
