We facilitate workshops, exhibit art & produce theatre to raise awareness & break the stigma of BPD In 2015 Borderline Arts became a registered charity.

Borderline Arts is a mental health charity started by Sarah Eley, to raise awareness of and break down the stigma surrounding Borderline Personality Disorder (also known as BPD or EUPD). Sarah experienced stigma due to her mental health difficulties and diagnoses - as far too

many do - but discovered that by exhibiting art created by herself and others in similar positions, they could raise awareness and educate others about what they were going through, in this instance specifically Borderline Personality Disorder. Borderline Arts do a number of things to achieve this goal; we facilitate educational workshops for mental health professionals and students, curate and display artwork created by those with BPD in exhibitions, and run creative groups for adults with BPD, amongst other things. The theme throughout is that we help to educate those working in the mental health sector as well as the general public, and foster an accepting and positive attitude toward those with BPD. To continue this vital work, we rely on money that is raised through fundraisers. You can find out more about us at: www.borderlinearts.org

RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY for adults with lived experience of mental health conditions.

This anonymous survey is part of a research project being run by final-year students at King’s College London about people's views on the idea of Future Implantable Mental Health Technologies.

This is the information they have given us:

We are final-year students at King’s College London conducting a Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) project in collaboration with NeuralPulse, a neurotechnology company spun out from King’s College London.

This survey explores the views of people with lived experience of mental health conditions regarding potential future implantable neurotechnology designed to predict and help prevent mental health relapses.

This is not a clinical trial, does not involve any intervention, and does not recruit through NHS services. It is a PPIE activity intended to gather perspectives to help inform future research and technology development.

Participation is entirely voluntary, and all responses are anonymous.

There is also a raffle for a £25 voucher as a thank you for participation!
