Lady T is a little sausage with a big personality, and even bigger potential ❤

She's a Dachshund/Jack Russell cross and can be a little worried by the world at first, but with the people she's come to trust, she's playful, loving, and an absolute joy to be around. Getting there has taken time and patience, but watching her come out of her shell has been so rewarding!

Lady T loves to use her brain and she's got a real drive for positive reward, so she has brilliant potential with the right training and guidance. She's looking for someone patient and experienced who understands that the best things take time, and who will feel so proud watching her flourish 💙

Furniture, toys. pet supplies, shoes, homeware, books, and more... And that's just scratching the surface!

Our RSPCA Ilkeston Charity Shop is one of the most varied shops on the high street, and we're looking for a Deputy Manager to help run it.

It's a hands-on role with real variety, supporting the day-to-day running of the shop, leading and motivating our volunteer team, and helping maximise the income that funds the care of local rescue animals.

We're a small, independent local charity, separate from the national RSPCA, and if you're looking for a retail role that genuinely makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Our annual Online Pet Show is BACK, and it starts this Wednesday evening!

From Sleeping Beauty and Best Baby, to Action Shot and Pesky Pet, there's a class for every animal 🐶🐱🐰🐹🐭🐮🐷🐴🐌🐍🐢🦎🦜

Our very own patron, Sir Tony Robinson, will be judging who takes home the coveted Best in Show prize 🏆

Start digging out your favourite photos, because you're going to want to enter this one!

Every entry helps raise money for our animals here at Abbey Street. Full details will be shared on Wednesday evening 🐾

Lord Bentley is stillseeking a new kingdom to rule 👑

His Lordship is still getting used to new people and new situations, but with calm, gentle encouragement from us, his dutiful servants, he's starting to find his paws and has perfected his 'I require more veggies' face 😂

Lord Bentley has so much potential, and we know that with the right family behind him, he's going to absolutely flourish. He just needs someone willing to take things at his pace and let him grow into the ruler of your heart!

Join our volunteer van team and help fund the care of rescue animals right here in Derby ❤

We're looking for two volunteers to join our team and help keep our charity shops stocked with donations from across Derbyshire:

🚐 Volunteer Van Driver - collecting donated items from members of the public and transporting stock between our shops and storage units. You'll need a full, clean manual UK driving licence and be confident behind the wheel of a medium-sized van.

🚐 Volunteer Drivers Mate - riding along to assist with collections, loading, unloading and moving stock. No licence needed, but you'll need to be physically fit and happy to get stuck in.

These roles are a brilliant way to get out and about in the community while making a real difference to local rescue animals.

Do you remember the Dachshunds we took in at Christmas all the way back in 2019?

Last weekend, Heidi met up with four of her pups, Holly, Willow, Bert and Wilma ❤

We can't quite believe it's been over 6 years since we cared for them, but it's so lovely to see them all grown up and loving their lives 🥰 and what a lovely reunion for them and their families!
