How to use Halloween as a springboard to talk about Jesus with Muslims?
Many churches with Muslim communities on their doorstep offer English language classes or English Conversation groups and find that these activities open the door to engaging with their neighbours.
If your church has a group like this, you can use the Halloween season to talk about spirituality. In fact, you can use this opportunity even as an individual in conversations you have with Muslims during this time.
Here is a description of an approach used by one Mahabba member's English Conversation class.

Some Muslims are becoming disillusioned and start questioning. Pray they seek and find Christians who will listen to them and help them find the "True God", Jesus, who will satisfy their souls.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."
Matthew 7:7-8

Reaching out and sharing your faith doesn't have to be scary. It can be as simple as sharing your skills or interests from your job or hobby.

We have all been given natural gifts by God; skills we can use to help other people hear about Jesus. Many of these natural skills are things we use every day and, with a little imagination, they can become tools in God’s hand to grow his kingdom.

Read this month's blog post for ideas.

In September, the Muslim Council of Britain are organising a nationwide Visit My Mosque (VMM) programme. This is a good opportunity to organise a party from your church to visit a local mosque. The dates are Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September. Participating mosques can be found here: https://vmm.mcb.org.uk/

Our latest blog post explores why attending one of these visits is a good opportunity and gives guidance and advice for when you go.
