Derbyshire Maternity and Health Inequalities Forum Launch, Posters and Registration.
We would like to invite you to the launch event of the Derby and Derbyshire Maternity and Neonatal Health Inequalities Forum. Please see posters attached for sharing.
This new Forum brings together local communities, parents, families, community organisations, healthcare professionals and system leaders to work together to improve maternity and neonatal care and reduce inequalities across Derby and Derbyshire.
Over the past year, women and families from different communities have shared their experiences of maternity and neonatal services. We have listened carefully to what people told us. This event is an opportunity to share what we learned and, most importantly, work together on what happens next.
Why should I get involved?
By joining us, you will:
Hear what local women and families told us through the recent engagement programme
Hear from community groups who helped gather these experiences
Learn about current work taking place across maternity and neonatal services
Meet local Community Maternity Champions
Help shape future priorities and action plans
Have your voice heard and contribute to positive change
What to expect
The event will include:
A community-led co-production activity to create our shared principles and safe space
Speakers from Public Health, and local NHS leadership
Presentations from community organisations involved in the engagement work
An overview of the key findings from the engagement report
Opportunities to get involved in future action planning and improvement work
