We are thrilled to announce that after costs, the Spring Disco raised a fantastic £1208.43!!

Thank you to all our parent volunteers who set up, took down, sold, glittered, and everything else! We couldn’t do it without you!

Thank you to all the staff who helped, danced, supported, safeguarded, sold, mopped, swept & everything else in between! We couldn’t do it without you!

🎉We’re delighted to share some great news! The PTA team has successfully secured a £1,000 grant from the Derby Association of Community Partners (DACP) to fund tailored first aid training for all pupils.

Age-appropriate, practical sessions will be delivered by Mini First Aid Limited, giving children the confidence and skills to respond safely in everyday situations.

We are delighted to announce that we will be holding our Spring Discos on Thursday 5th February! Please see below for all the details and to book.

Disco 1 (fs2, y1 & y2) 3:30-4:30

Children may bring party clothes to school and get ready in their classrooms after school. Their teachers will es**rt the children to the hall at 3:30.

Price for disco 1 is £5.00 which will include a drink, snack and some glow sticks. This is so that little ones have the option not to have to manage cash.

Children may bring cash if they want to purchase extra drinks/snacks/glow items but this is optional.

Pick up at 4:30 from hall doors.

Disco 2 y3-y6 4:45-5:45

Children to queue up outside hall doors.

Price for Disco 2 is £3.50 and children may bring cash to purchase drinks, snacks and glow items.

Pickup is 5:45 from hall doors and walking home permissions will not be applicable due to the late finish & the fact it will be dark.

Ho Ho Ho HOW amazing is Homefields!

We hope everyone had a wonderful time at our Christmas Fayre last night 🎄🎅🏼 it was lovely to see the school so full of happy families having fun!

You have raised an amazing £2133.83 🎉🎉🎉 this will make such a difference to enhance the education of the pupils!

THANK YOU to the PTA committee for all of your hard work before, during & after!

THANK YOU to all the parent volunteers, friends & family for your hard work setting up, running and clearing away!

THANK YOU to all the hard-working staff for all of your support and hard work before, during and after, working so hard after a long day of teaching (and letting us completely rearrange your classrooms!)

THANK YOU to Paul, who stepped in at the last minute as Santa, and his wife Linda, for all your help!

THANK YOU to the cleaners who so patiently worked around us while we were setting up!

THANK YOU to all the children & parents for your support and bringing the festive joy!

And now, to the raffle….

THANK YOU for all of your very generous donations, the hampers look beautiful! The class that donated the most items was Mrs Wainwright’s year 2 class, who win £50 to spend on something for their classroom, chosen by the children in that class!

We’re sure you can’t wait to find out the winning ticket numbers, so here they are:

CHRISTMAS FAYRE 4:30PM-6:30PM THURSDAY 27TH NOVEMBER

Not long to go now, here is some important info:

Entrance will be via the main school entrance next to the office. Entry is 50p for adults, children free

Please see the two maps above so you don’t miss anything! The fun goes all the way up to Mrs Phillips’ classroom - but please don’t venture any further than that.

For Storytime with Santa please check-in with Head Elf Heald near the entrance, 5 minutes prior to your booked slot.

Children remain the responsibility of their parents/carers at all times during the fayre.

Please follow any instructions given to you by staff & PTA volunteers so that everyone can enjoy a happy & safe event!

We have many lovely prizes on offer at the game stalls - all have been purchased from reputable suppliers and carry all relevant UK safety warnings. Some may not be suitable for children under 3 so please ensure you check the packaging before giving to a younger child.

Coloured Christmas Hamper Raffle

THE CLASS WITH MOST DONATIONS WILL WIN A PRIZE FOR THEIR CLASS 🎉

You can also support our fundraising efforts by pre purchasing the raffle tickets that have been sent home. Price is £1 per ticket - please complete the details on the ticket stubs and return these to the office with the money, in the envelope provided by *Friday 21st November* retaining the tickets for yourself.

If not wishing to purchase raffle tickets please return them to the office as extra tickets will be on sale during the Christmas Fayre

The raffle will be drawn on Friday 28th November
