We're still looking for a Dr Craven, Martha and Colin to complete our principal cast for this beautiful show. A unique opportunity to perform outdoors at the beautiful Elvaston Castle.
Dr Craven (playing age 30s-40s) - a strong baritone needed for this role. He has given up everything for his brother and to care for his nephew. He has to manage everything on the estate, but has never felt noticed.
Martha (playing age teen to early 20s) - a strong vocalist needed for this role which requires both belt and great character singing. Martha is the Yorkshire maid who looks after Mary and helps her to change as a person, but also enact change in others. A warm and caring young woman.
Colin (playing age 10-12) - a spoilt boy who has spent his life in bed as an invalid. Mary helps him to get well and become a nicer person.
Rehearsals on Tuesday evenings in Derby.
