We would firstly like to make clear that none of the organisers or volunteers of Guru Nanak Mission are in anyway connected to any political party. In fact, it’s probably true that none of the team have ever voted in a general election and the reason for this is the same for most of the population . . . . . . disillusionment with politics. Disillusioned because most feel that there is no point in voting because either option is just a face of the same machine. Nothing will ever change. These politicians are just well groomed slick salesmen. No matter who you vote for, the lies won’t stop, the deceit, the wars, one rule for the rich another for the rest. The whole system looks rigged. Vote for whoever you want, nothing will change. . . . . . . . Until now
This is the first time in living history where there is a candidate in a general election, who has a chance to become the Prime Minister and isn’t a pr******te like the rest. Someone who actually cares about society, cares about people, who is in politics to make life better for the majority rather than the few. Someone who wants peace instead of war, wants prosperity instead of austerity, justice instead of privilege, someone who doesn’t get chauffeured about in expensive cars but uses the bus, train and bicycles!!
Jeremy Corbyn is a major threat to the super rich. So much a threat that they have pulled out all stops and mechanisms in their bid to prevent him becoming Prime Minister. Through their control of newspapers, television and other media they are constantly trying to undermine and paint a negative picture of him. Due to this, it has become very visible to what extent their tentacles reach, the BBC, Sky, ITV, the scum, mirror, the guardian etc. etc. This isn’t a fight of left wing vs right wing, or capitalism vs socialism or labour vs conservative. This is a fight of good vs evil.
Can you imagine what future generations would say if we were to pass up this opportunity and allowed the media manipulation, the brainwashing and the scare mongering to win??
No man or woman on this planet is perfect and no 2 people on this planet share the same thoughts 100%, even twins won’t agree on everything. In the same way we might not agree with one or two things about Jeremy’s views but that doesn’t mean we throw away the baby with the bath water. If you were to look at Jeremy’s policies then you would have to agree that they are in the common good and are really common sense.
We at Guru Nanak Mission have seen first-hand the ills of today’s society and the impact of the austerity lie. More and more people are becoming homeless and more and more people are teetering towards it while the super-rich get billions in tax breaks.
We encourage everyone to register ( https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote ) and vote for a better future.
