Jog Derbyshire Dynamos is a virtual running club for anyone wanting to run with club affiliation in events such as 5&10k runs, marathons or endurance events.

And being affiliated means you often get reduced rates to events around the country not just Derbyshire!

11th May is the Chesterfield 10k. Its a popular race that is well organised. Some undulations, but defo PB potential and great for anyone stepping up to 10k.

This is a great race, very popular, well supported and very well organised.

As you can see it's also one of the more reasonably priced events around.

What’s the average cost of entry to a 10k race?

We know costs have shot up in recent years, but we reckon we’re offering amazing value for our entry fee of just £23 (EA affiliated) / £25 (unaffiliated).

You not only get a finishers medal, but also a technical t-shirt, chip timing on closed & well marshalled roads, together with timing pacer runners from 40 minutes to 70 minutes, finisher’s goodies, category winners prizes up to V70+, a vibrant post race event village, a 2k fun run for children and adults to get involved with, as well as the most incredible spectator support around the whole of the course being as it is one of the community events of the year within Dronfield! Not to mention the sense of supporting local charities and youngsters who attend 7th Dronfield Scout Group.
