Next weekend we are off on our long awaited choir retreat! We are so excited to spend the weekend practicing songs old and new and to spend some quality time together 😊

We are also very excited to return to the Anchor Inn in Tideswell to share our singing with you! We'll be performing at 8pm on the Saturday 6th of June and it would be great to see you there! 🎶🌞

Spring is here, the sun is shining, and we have our first event of the year! 🌞🌷Come see us perform next Saturday the 28th of March at Derby Market Hall!

We will be singing two sets - one at 12:00 and one at 13:00. We are really looking forward to it and it would be lovely to see you there 🎶.

Happy New Year from us at Local Vocals!

We hope you had a peaceful holiday season ❤️ Today we are back for our first rehearsal of 2026! If this year you are wanting to try out something new and meet new people, why don't you come along?

We are a non-auditioning choir with no requirement to read music, and we sing a variety of pop and rock songs! It has been proven that singing together improves mental health and wellbeing and any one of our members would tell you so, so we'd love it if you joined us 🎶. 

We meet every Thursday at the West End Community Centre in Derby from 7:30pm to 9pm and you are very welcome to come and have a go, starting tonight! 😊

This Saturday (6th of December) we will be singing at Family Festivities in Markeaton Park 🎄.

We are so excited to return to this event - the day begins at 11:00 in Markeaton Park Craft Village, and we will be singing from 13:00-13:40 🎁.

There will be plenty of activities for families and stalls to peruse for your Christmas shopping, so do come along and enjoy the event!

Another performance this week! We are bringing you more festive tunes tomorrow at the Ethical Christmas Market! 🎄 We are so excited to sing at this event again this year - we will be performing two sets: 10:30-11:00 and 12:30-13:00 🎤.

Come along for (ethical and sustainable) Christmas shopping and some lovely entertainment 😊🎁.

The annual Sadler Gate Night Market is almost here! Come and get in the festive spirit with us this Thursday the 27th of November ❄️⭐. The market is on from 5-9pm, but we are performing two sets, one at 6pm (at the bottom of Sadler Gate) and one at 7:30pm.

Get some of your Christmas shopping from the many independent shops in and around Sadler Gate and listen to us sing some festive tunes to get you in the spirit 🎵🤶🏼.
