A date for your calendars - it is almost time for our annual fundraiser!

On Saturday the 17th of October, we are hosting our community singing fundraiser event - "Chorus for a Cooker". We are raising money for the West End Community Centre kitchen refurb. This community centre is our home; us and so many other groups benefit from using the kitchen every week, but it now needs renovations. It seemed only fitting that we would use this cause as our fundraiser this year 🧑🏻‍🍳. Below are some details:

We will be hosting a singathon - we will be singing/performing from 11am-8pm! 🎙️Please come along and drop in at a point in the day that suits you and sing with us. We will sing some of our LV classics as well as some of our new tunes! As well as this, we will have a craft market, cake stands and tea and coffee for refreshments - plenty to keep you going! 🧁🍪☕ Any money raised will be going to the community centre kitchen refurb.

Tomorrow we are singing at the Festival of Music and Flowers in Markeaton Park! 🪻🌷🎶

Local Vocals will be performing at 12:15pm in the Walled Garden 🌼.

The event starts at 10:45am and there will be plenty of other performers, as well as a variety of stalls with crafts, flowers, plants, produce (all grown in the Walled Garden!) and a variety of refreshments. It's looking like it will be a lovely summer's day, so we are hoping to see you there! 💐

Get your calendars ready because here are our August performance dates!

Please scroll across to see both, but we will be singing in Markeaton Park - at the Flower and Music Festival and at the Food Festival. These are both brilliant events to be involved in and we are so excited 🏵️🌞!

We will post about each of these nearer the time so keep your eyes peeled, but it would be lovely to see you there! 🎶🎙️

Our next performance is this Saturday at the Six Streets Arts Trail! 🎨🧁

There will be various events and activities taking place on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th of June in the Six Streets area. Our choir will be performing at the top of Wheeldon Avenue on the Saturday at 2pm and it would be lovely to see you there! 🎙️

Next weekend we are off on our long awaited choir retreat! We are so excited to spend the weekend practicing songs old and new and to spend some quality time together 😊

We are also very excited to return to the Anchor Inn in Tideswell to share our singing with you! We'll be performing at 8pm on the Saturday 6th of June and it would be great to see you there! 🎶🌞
