Great drive from the Midlands to arrive at Coed Y Mwster golf club for a cracking round of golf.Happy to award our Highly Recommended status. Friendly, fun and excellent value. Thanks to Coed Y Mwster Hotel for an excellent lunch. Our accommodation for the trip is the excellent Dormy house Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club Superb accommodation. All a golfer could wish for is at hand. Clubhouse full as it's curry night. Brilliant start to a trip that includes Royal Porthcawl Golf Club tomorrow and Maesteg Golf Club on Saturday. Many thanks to Visit Bridgend for your support. Fabulous news 👏👏👏👏

Well after an anxious couple of years and what seems like an eternity of campaigning, A UNANIMOUS VOTE in favour of a transfer from all councillors this afternoon means

BRACKENWOOD GOLF COURSE IS BEING TRANSFERRED AND SET TO REOPEN.

We even got a standing ovation from all councillors on the committee.

WE ARE ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED and we know the local community in particular will be too. We couldn't have done it without councillor support but most of all YOUR SUPPORT.

THANK YOU ALL, YOU HAVE SUCH A SPECIAL PLACE IN OUR HEARTS AND THE FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT.

We will post more information in the ckming days but at the moment we are all celebrating before the real hard work begins.
