Sunday’s Flower & Produce Show was a great success yet again, in spite of the less than perfect growing conditions this year. Katherine Gray swept the board to win first place, with Maria Holloway & Sarah R***r snapping at her heels. Well done to all three. 👏
Many thanks to Jacqui, Stewart, Julia, Peter, Paul, Liz, Geoff & everyone else who made cakes & helped on the day. I couldn’t have done it without you!
Here are some photos of the wonderful produce entered on the day.

We had such fun at the Deopham church yesterday when Andy Castleton entertained us with his repertoire of songs from the ‘60’s & then appeared as “Elvis” for the second half of the gig. It was wonderful to see so many people singing along & having a great time. Andy helped us raise a staggering £505 towards the car park project, for which we are immensely grateful. Thank you so much for popping over to perform for us!

Parking at the Gralix Hall for Andy’s gig is limited but there is a car park at the playing field a short walk away. Please bring a cushion for a more comfortable seat on the pews.

What an amazing turnout for coffee morning today, could it be due to the star guest appearance by Andy & Heather Castleton?
Many thanks to the cake makers Julia, Pauline, Kathleen, Jane & especially to Stewart for his cake plus tea/coffee making skills. As ever Martin was frantically trying to keep up with demand for sausages & bacon as the orders came in thick & fast! Thank you to all for your help & support. We surpassed all our expectations & raised £187 towards the car park project. WOW!
