Then Denbigh & District Round Table might be for you.
We’re a group of local blokes who get together for socials, events, charity fundraising, questionable ideas, and the occasional organised chaos.
Your partner gets a night off from you.
You get out of the house.
The kids get temporarily ignored by both parents while you claim it’s “networking.” Everybody wins.
One month it’s axe throwing.
Next month it’s a curry night or Go Karting.
Then somehow you’re helping run an event and wondering how you ended up with a hangover after a successful Beerfest or Summer Ball.
No suits.
No secret handshakes.
No pressure.
Just good people, good laughs, and doing a bit of good locally.
If you’re roughly 18–45, based in and around Denbigh, Ruthin & surrounding areas, and fancy meeting a decent bunch of lads — drop us a message.

As Shane Rumney steps down as Chairman we wish Ed Roberts all the best for the year ahead as your new Chairman and Tom Kneale as Vice Chairman. Shane will stay on as President for another 12 months. This year Denbigh & District Round Table would like to see a spike in new members, fresh ideas, great social events and lots of fundraising for local charities.

We are actively seeking new members to join Denbigh & District Round Table, after the AGM in April we will be down a few members which takes the members toll very low, if we want to keep the beer festival and santas float alive we really would like some new members on board to help organise and also be a part of a local community group with regular fun social meetings and doing lots for local charity's.

Following the annual Santas Float, all at Denbigh & District Round Table would like to thank all the volunteers, Graig Motors for keeping the van going for us throughout, Ffrith Potteries and Ystrad farm for all the help. We would also like to say a huge thank you to all the public for donating their money each evening. We raised a staggering £4600 which will be going back into local charities.
Once again Thank You Everyone and we hoped you had a great Christmas and all the best for the New Year 😁

That's a wrap!!!! That's the 2025 Santas Float over with, great work from everyone involved, to all the door knockers, drivers and of course, thank you for Santa taking time out his busy schedule to come and spread festive joy to Denbigh and surrounding villages...
Another big thank you goes to Clwb Rygbi Dinbych for lots of helpers through the course of the float schedule.

Yesterday we had what can only be described as A Nightmare Before Christmas as unfortunately the float broke down and we were not sure if we could make the Llandyrnog and Bodfari run last night.......But as magical as Christmas is and with a Christmas miracle we had the van repaired on the same day with plenty of parts thrown on it.....Denbigh and District Round Table would like to thank Graig Motors in Denbigh for their hard work and determination to make sure Santas float did not miss an evening bringing joy to the local villages.

We hope you are enjoying Santa's float and seeing all the volunteers knocking door to door, we appreciate all your donations for local charities too. We are committed to be out in whatever weather throws at us. May we ask one thing of the parents of children is just to be wary if your children are on bikes circling around the float as it doesn't have the best visibility with all the bright lights, loud music and it being dark. The volunteers look out for children close to the float as best we can but we don't want to have any injuries so please if kids are on bikes or running next to the float to be safe and await for it to stop so you can see Santa. 🎅

Not long now until Santa, his helpers and volunteers come around Denbigh Town and surrounding villages spreading festive joy and knocking on your doors for kind donations that are donated right back into the community and towards local charities, the Round Table members and volunteers give up their own time to put smiles on children's (and adults) faces and bring joy to all!!! We ask you please if you see any of our members and volunteers that are looking tired and cold to give them a mince pie or something sweet to keep their energy up......Also this year instead of worrying about having some coins lying about for the charity boxes,(we still and always will accept sterling coins) we have a QR code to either donate £1 only or a QR code on all charity boxes to donate whatever you like so you the public can choose what you'd like to donate.
Santa will be ready to start spreading joy from 4pm on Sunday 30th Nov. See you very soon.......🎅
