You'll remember that in previous years No Mow May was pretty much town wide. Whilst some didn't approve of the aesthetic, it did results in a greater variety of grasses, flowers and insects being visible. Now, only certain areas benefit from No Mow May and one of those is Goose Green. During the first No Mow a couple of orchids appeared. Now it boasts at least 15 Bee Orchids and 3 Pyramid Orchards. It's perhaps small news when considered alongside everything else that's happening but worth celebrating none the less.
