On Thurs 18th June, Volunteers from the charity, British Divers Marine Life Rescue are attending the “Get together evening”.
They will be sharing
information about the charities role, and local issues i.e rescuing seals which are found on the beaches.

Everyone is welcome to attend, doors open 6.30pm and the talk will start at 7pm.
Admission is £6.50. Free refreshments.

Alex McNeice is looking forward to talking to us on Thurs 11th June at the “get together evening”. He’ll be telling us all about The Real Power Of Music, and how music has the power to change lives. Alex runs a number of singing groups and choirs, as well as community projects using music to help those in need. Having been involved in music all his life, he has seen how powerful it can be and how wonderful the changes in people can be. Everyone welcome, doors open 6.30pm
⏰Entertainment starts at 7pm.

On Thursday 4th June, we have David presenting a quiz night at the “Get together evening“.

Subjects covered - Words, Anagrams and Acronyms, History of Deal, British Landmarks, 60-80’s film musicals, Worldwide Geography.
Some easy(ish), some devilish questions!

Come and be challenged, everyone welcome.

Doors open 6.30pm, quiz starts at 7pm. Admission £6.50. Refreshments free.

This Thursday 28th May, Colin Varrall a local historian and author will be talking at the “Get together evening”

He has been a volunteer member of the crew of both the Atlantic and D class lifeboats at Walmer lifeboat station for the 20 years. He will be speaking about the history of the RNLI, as well as the three different RNLI lifeboat stations, which were situated at North Deal, Walmer and Kingsdown from as early as 1856.

Everyone is welcome. Doors open 6.30pm, evening starting at 7pm. Admission is £6.50. Refreshments free.

John will be entertaining us from repertoire of songs from the 50/60/70’s.
