Daventry Contact is a Christian based charity that is set up to relieve the burden of poverty for the community of Daventry district. The charity’s primary service is the collection and redistribution of quality goods from those who have to those who don’t. The charity’s secondary service is providing work-experience based placements for individuals with learning difficulties and those recovering

from mental health related problems. The type of work-experience offered is tailored to the primary service of the charity and builds up individual skills such as warehouse and storage activities resulting in achievement and self-esteem, which can even lead up to the gaining of nationally recognized qualifications. We pride ourselves in caring for our volunteers and apprentices by encouraging their development through training and affirmation.
