Summer has been in full swing across our homes, and July has been one of our busiest months yet!

We currently have a small number of residential and supported living vacancies available across our homes in Byfield, Brackley and Duston.
At Solden Hill House, we support adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to live fulfilling lives, build independence, develop friendships and enjoy opportunities that matter to them.
From everyday life skills and volunteering to holidays, social activities and community involvement, our focus is on helping each person achieve their own goals in a safe and supportive environment.
Whether you're a family member, advocate, social worker or commissioner looking for the right placement, we'd love to chat about how we may be able to help.

We’re clearly a very cultured bunch 🤣💜
From a 60s night hosted by Tony Blackburn featuring lots of his favorite tunes, to a trip for 2 ladies to see Moulin Rouge in the West End, it’s been a busy few weeks. One resident also enjoyed Q The Music – The James Bond Concert, packed with all the iconic themes (and even hosted by a former Bond girl, with plenty of behind-the-scenes stories along the way).
And to round it off, two more headed to Boyzlife at Warwick Arts Centre 🎶
A great mix of music, theatre and live events — and plenty of experiences to talk about afterwards.

The team from Tudor Way have enjoyed a well-earned break at the seaside 🌊
Thankfully, the weather was kind (always a bonus with unpredictable British springtime!), and it was a great chance for everyone to relax, get some fresh air and enjoy a change of scenery.

Residents have been making the most of the milder weather, getting active and spending more time outdoors 💜
From basketball and football in the gardens to preparing our own spaces and tending to the local allotment, there’s been plenty going on. We’ve even been making bird feeders — a great way to enjoy the outdoors and support local wildlife.
A good mix of activity, teamwork and time outside, all making the most of the change in season 💜

Our residents have been enjoying time with Limitless Banbury , a fantastic local SEND group, and it’s been a great opportunity to build new connections within the wider community 💜

Simple meet-ups — a drink, a few board games and good conversation — have created a relaxed space where people can feel comfortable, get to know others and enjoy being themselves.

It’s been brilliant to see the confidence grow and friendships develop — and the smiles say it all when it comes to the positive impact on wellbeing.

🚴‍♀️ Today’s the day – our 12-hour cycle marathon is underway! 🚴‍♂️💜

From 8am to 8pm, staff and residents at Flora Innes House are taking turns on the exercise bike, cycling continuously as part of a brilliant team effort. Whether it’s five minutes or fifty, everyone is getting involved and doing their bit.

💜 What are we raising money for?
Funds raised will go towards:
• Updating the lounge and orangery
• Improving our garden space for everyone to enjoy

It’s all about creating spaces that support comfort, wellbeing and everyday life at Flora Innes.
