We are currently looking to add to our incredible volunteer team at our breakfast club in Daventry.

Do you make a mean cup of tea? Are you a dab hand at washing up? Do you enjoy chatting to an older person and making their day brighter?

Time commitment is 2 hours on alternate Wednesdays.

Please do get in touch if you can help

Last month one of our incredible volunteers Caroline was presented with a Rose of Northamptonshire award.
Caroline was nominated for this award by the Happy@home team for her unwavering commitment to the project.
Caroline has been volunteering with the project for over 4 years. Not only does Caroline visit her befriendee every week, she also volunteers at one of our fortnightly breakfast clubs, making beautiful homemade cakes for the attendee's.
Caroline has helped out at many of our events and is passionate about the wellbeing of older people in the community.

Thank you for all you do Caroline

Day 2 Volunteers week 2026

Celebrating our INCREDIBLE volunteer befrienders.

Our befrienders visit older, isolated people in there own homes each week.
Often they go above and beyond the role of a befriender and form friendships that last for years. The kindness and compassion they show is immeasurable and truly humbling.

Thank you for the difference you ALL make
