Harry's Pals Charity Emotional support for parents in England and Wales who have a severely ill or disabled child. Registered Charity Number: 1198592

We are Harry's Pals, a charity set up to support the emotional needs of families with a severely ill or disabled child. Drawing on Harry's families experiences, Harry's Pals aim to help quell the shortfall in emotional support to parents following a diagnosis that their child has a life limiting or threatening condition. Harry's Pals provide respite breaks, counselling and therapy services and a mentoring service whilst trying to inspire change to improve the lives of carers and disabled people through campaigning.

The Harry’s Pals Comedy Fundraiser returns for its fourth year on Friday 23rd October, and we have another fantastic line-up waiting for you!

Joining us this year are the brilliant Dominic Holland, Paul Tonkinson and Kate Robb, with the outstanding Paul Revill keeping the night flowing as our MC.

Self Care Sunday 💚

A simple message can mean more than you realise.

Parent caring can sometimes feel isolating, and when life gets busy it's easy to lose touch with the people around us. If someone pops into your mind today, why not send them a quick text or give them a call?

You don't need the perfect words. Sometimes a simple "How are you?" is enough to remind someone they're not alone.

And if you're the one who needs support, don't be afraid to reach out. We all need someone in our corner sometimes.

🇵🇪 And they’re off! ✈️🥾

Our amazing Machu PiGchu team are just about to board their flight to Peru, ready to take on the Inca Trail for Harry’s Pals! ❤️

Sarah Ball, Andy Ball, Andrew Charlesworth, Gareth Green, Gareth Jones, Emi Arnault, Sion Buckley, Gemma Diratzonian, Julie Holnes, Sarah Hitchings, Sam Nuckey, Dan Powell and Sandrine Oakes — we are SO grateful to every single one of you.

And this is no easy trek! They’re facing five really physically demanding days through the Andes, trekking for hours each day, tackling relentless steep climbs and descents, thousands of ancient stone steps, camping overnight and dealing with the effects of altitude — climbing to a massive 4,200m above sea level before eventually reaching Machu Picchu. 🏔️😳

It’s going to push them physically and mentally, and we couldn’t be more grateful that they’ve chosen to take it on for Harry’s Pals. ❤️

A huge thank you to Sarah and Andy Ball at People In Glazing (PiGs) for organising this incredible challenge and bringing everyone together to support Harry’s Pals. Parent Feedback ❤️

For many parent carers, everyday life can become a long list of appointments, medication, paperwork and planning. Even time away can sometimes feel like another thing to organise.

That's why we work hard to provide breaks that allow families to truly switch off. Time to stop managing, stop worrying for a while, and simply enjoy being together.

Thank you, Katy, for sharing your experience. Knowing your break felt like a chance to breathe and reconnect is exactly why we do what we do.

This time, meet the absolutely brilliant Paul Tonkinson… and yes, he really is this funny! 😂

Paul will be joining us for what promises to be another fantastic night of live comedy, all while raising vital funds for Harry’s Pals. 💙

This is our FOURTH year running our charity Comedy Night and it’s always such a brilliant evening. Great comedy, a fantastic atmosphere, food and drinks available, and plenty of laughs!
