Daventry District Time Bank

Daventry District Time Bank Daventry District Timebank is a way for people to share skills with others in their community and be rewarded for it - in time. Dog Walking. Teaching English.

Who or What is Timebank I hear you say. Timebank is a voluntary run community, which is a way for people to share skills and interests with others and be rewarded for it – in time. You join the scheme, we will open an account for you, your hours will be recorded on a computer. You fill in a form with your skills and needs and we then match you to another member who could use your skills or has the

same interests as you. You give a few hours of your spare time, doing the things that you enjoy. You receive help as and when you need it. You get the satisfaction of improving someone else's quality of life. The kind of services members are giving and receiving include:-

Shopping. Friendly Phone Calls. Computer skills. Home Visits. We as volunteers will help with the matching of members, arrange Social events, Days out, Coffee mornings, Fundraising events. We have an ongoing Art Group, Book Club and a Quiz Night just starting up. I can do things you cannot,
You can do things I cannot,
Together we can do great things.
