🚨 Hi EVERYONE, we are really sorry to say we can no longer continue with the Darwen Dine & Huddle. We’ve decided to sell the business The CHAAT WALAS along with all our equipment due to the demands of our days jobs (social worker/nurse) which was just too much to juggle alongside running the street food business and also commit to the Dine and Huddle. We hope to bring it back sometime in the future. We’ve really enjoyed the events we’ve held and cant thank Sammy and the volunteers Darwen Community Helpers - CIC for all their support. X

THANK YOU for coming everyone, the number of people who came far exceeded expectations and we thank you for it. Thanks also for the kind donations, this will pay for the next event and the remainder donated to Darwen Community Helpers - CIC who without Sammy & her team of volunteers this wouldn’t be possible.

The next event will be 30th June and I’m open to suggestions for what to cook….

🚨 Not long now until the next Darwen Dine & Huddle which will be a journey from North to South India. Starting with the North Indian classic street food Pani Puri to wake up the taste buds, then to fill your bellies with delicious Aloo Chaat. Finally heading South with the classic South Indian breakfast dish Idli and Sambar!

As always, it’s a pay what you feel event and there’s no obligation to pay. It’s about getting together as a community and making new friends. Everyone welcome.

🚨 SAVE THE DATE 🚨

The next Darwen Dine & Huddle will be held on the 28th April 2024 between 1-3pm.

The menu is still being decided but as always you won’t be disappointed.

The goal is to get our community together for good conversion while enjoying delicious food served by us and with the help of Darwen Community Helpers - CIC.

The event is at Darwen Valley Community Centre. Tickets can be booked shortly, keep an eye out for the link from Darwen Community Helpers .

It’s a pay what you feel/can afford event. You can pay what you like and if you can't pay anything that's OK too we just want to see you there. It is open to children too 🙂
