A huge thank you to Kristina and the team at the Bridgewater for supporting Safe Steps Darwen by funding new beer mats.

They have now arrived, and we are absolutely delighted with them! 💛💙

The beer mats will help us raise awareness of Safe Steps Darwen and let people know where they can turn for support when enjoying a night out in our town. Every conversation started and every person reached helps us move one step closer to creating a safer community for everyone.

We are incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and belief in our project from local businesses such as the Bridgewater. It really does show what can be achieved when the community comes together.

🌞 Good Morning Everyone 🌞

We thought we’d give you a little update on our Safe Steps Darwen initiative.

We are now officially moving into Phase 2 of the project and things are continuing to progress behind the scenes. We still have some meetings planned with Lancashire Police and are currently working on securing the funding needed to purchase our equipment and get everything in place ready for launch.

We have also received our first mock-ups from the designer and we absolutely love them! They look fantastic and have really helped bring our vision to life.

A huge thank you to Dan at Devote for his time, support, and creativity throughout this process. We look forward to working with him more in the near future.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support, encourage, and believe in what we’re building. We’re excited to share more updates with you soon.

Today we met with a local designer to discuss the next exciting stage of Safe Steps Darwen.

We spent time talking through ideas for our equipment, gazebo, volunteer uniforms, and overall branding to help create a professional and recognisable presence within our community. It was fantastic to share our vision and start bringing it to life.

We are now eagerly waiting to see the mock-ups and cannot wait to share them with you all. Seeing everything come together is another big step forward for Safe Steps Darwen, and we’re incredibly excited about what lies ahead.

Tomorrow, we’ll be continuing our journey by visiting more local businesses and venues across Darwen to hand out flyers, raise awareness, and build further support for the initiative. Every conversation and every connection helps us move one step closer to making Safe Steps Darwen a reality.
