Get ready for an evening where words take centre stage! 🎤✨

Join us at the Sir Peter Blake Gallery in Dartford for a powerful night of spoken word and community as part of Dartford Pride Week. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a first-time listener, this is a space for connection, hope, and finding your unique voice.

Meet Our Judges

We are honored to have two incredible artists presiding over the slam:

Sven Stears: An English National Slam Champion and World All-Star whose raw, heartfelt work explores everything from personal loss to messages of hope.

Vivian Alexander: A renowned visual artist and poet specializing in international collaboration and community support.

An Incredible Lineup

Prepare to be moved by a stellar roster of poets and theatre-makers, including:

Jemma Burgess: Founder of Hope on Prescription and producer of Dartford’s first-ever poetry festival.

Henry Madd: A multi-award-winning poet whose work has been featured on the BBC and The Guardian.

Alice Gretton: An award-winning spoken word artist who tours the UK celebrating q***r identities and mental health.
