If our younger members fancy joining me for an adventure this summer - why not pop along to the Library Takeover Day? I kick off the fun ... But there's so many exciting things to do through the day.

Here are some photos from yesterday's performance of "Defying the Wizard" by our Friday group. A combination of our Spotlights (age 4-7), Limelights (age 7-11) and Footlights (age 11-18).

Colourful, vibrant and full of fun. The cast created their own version of the original "Wizard of Oz" by Frank L Baum but with a twist of their own at the end - thanks to Toto!

It's been a busy couple of weeks at Identity with our performances of "Defying the Wizard" - our own reimagining of L Frank Baum's original book "The Wizard of Oz".

Two different casts, similar - but different scripts - and a sprinkling of Tornado Magic.

Through improvisation the cast explored the characters and themes in the story, creating our own, original take on the well known characters and text.

Here are some photos from last week's performance with our Tuesday and Saturday groups (I didn't post them last week as I didn't want to give any spoilers for this week's show).

There's been a red weather warning with sweltering heat this week ... So obviously it was the best time for our adult company to perform a pantomime!!

Full of crazy fun, wild characters, silliness, singing, wrong rabbits, a dame and a baddie, a flamingo, a mouse and so much more.

What a talented, supportive, funny, friendly and creative cast we have. With members aging from 17 to ... (Well, it wouldn't be polite to say but over 21!!). There may be a big variety of ages - but in the rehearsal room everyone is equal, everyone gets on, working together as a team and laughing a lot!

I'm so lucky to be able to spend Tuesday nights with this brilliant bunch.

Well, we promised more show photos over Easter - but then the Identity staff took a well deserved break to see the Easter Bunny and eat plenty of chocolate eggs!!

But we are back for a new term, and so here are some more photos from our last performance before the holidays.
