Day 11 Gil (Jingle Bells….or Gil-gle Bells 🙈)

Walking through the day,
With Gil beside your knee,
Such a friendly boy,
As perfect as can be!

Cats? He thinks they’re fine —
Dogs? He loves them too!
He wiggles with excitement
Every time he meets one new!

Oh—
Gil-gel bells, Gil-gel bells,
Gil is all good vibes!
What a joy it is to walk
With a lad who loves his tribe!

Cuddly, sweet and social —
He’ll brighten every day!

He loves to stay up close,

Day 10 (even though it’s the 11th but I didn’t get on yesterday!) - Foxy. (Santa Tell Me 🎵)

Santa, tell me…
Will she find her home this year?
’Cause Foxy’s nervous,
Needs some time to lose her fear. 🎶

She’s a beauty,
Quiet as a mouse inside her den,
You wouldn’t even know she’s there
Till she trusts again.

But ohhh—
When she looks up at you,
With those eyes shining through,
You’ll melt into a puddle,
’Cause her love is so true.

🎶 Santa, tell me…
Is there someone calm and kind?
Someone patient,
With a gentle heart and lo-ots of time? 🎶

She could live with a kitty,
She’s delicate and sweet,
A stunning little snowflake
Who’s trying to find her feet.

🎶 Oh Santa, tell me…
That her someone’s on their way…
’Cause Foxy’s ready
For her brighter Christmas Day! 🎶

We know this girl could have been home x10000 just on looks (we’ve all fell for those eyes) but the truth is Foxy is one of the most nervous greys we’ve had. She does come round and she does learn to trust (Janet gets regular paws on shoulder cuddles now) but it takes a whole lot of time and sadly no one so far has wanted to give her this 😔

Day 9 - Lineker (Santa Claus is Coming to Town)

Oh, you’d better watch out,
You’d better hold tight,
Lineker’s a lad
With a whole lotta might…
Lineker is looking for a hoooome!

He’s quirky, he’s funny,
He’s loving as can be,
A cuddle-monster gentleman
Who’ll sit beside your tree!

But other breeds? Hmmm, he says,
“They’re really not my vibe,”
Another grey is perfect though—
He’ll match them stride for stride!

He’s strong on the lead,
But willing to try,
With someone patient
He’ll aim for the sky…
Lineker is ready for a hoooome!

So if you want a charming boy
With character to spare,
Lineker’s your Christmas star—
Just waiting for someone to care.

Day 8 - Zeek (Frosty the Snowman)

Zeek-y is a good boy,
What a handsome lad is he!
Walks so nicely on his lead
And as polite as he can be.

Ohhhh—
Zeek-y loves the girlies,
Gets along so easily,
But with brand-new folks he’s shy
Till he trusts you quietly.

There must be a family out there
With kindness in their heart…
’Cause once he knows you’re gentle,
Zeek is loyal from the start!

Zeek-y is a sweetheart,
Waiting for his forever home…
Give him time and love and patience —
He will never walk alone

Day 7 - Evie (Let it Snow)

Oh, Evie’s a quiet lady,
And her heart is soft and steady,
Clean and calm in her little den,
Dreaming of a home again.

When she walks she’s such a delight,
Gentle steps, never pulling tight,
But around other dogs she’ll grow
(Just a bit!) — she’ll learn, we know.

No children or pets, it’s true,
She needs a home that’s calm and true,
With folks who understand, you see,
Sleep startle’s part of Evie.

If you give her patience and grace,
She’ll bloom in her own safe space,
And the love she’ll give will grow…
Evie’s ready now — let her glow.

Evie seems a complicated gal but she really isn’t. She simply needs a home that is more hands off. She’s not looking to share your bed or space, just your heart.

Confident queen again!

Loving her people by far!
Maybe okay with a feline or two,
She’s ready for a family who’ll love her true!

Freya’s a sweetheart, food is her weak spot,
Snuggles are her fave thing too…

Dec the halls, he’s full of sparkle,

Bit of zoomies? Oh he’s a marvel,
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!

Starts off strong ’cause life’s exciting,
Fa-la-la, la-la-la, la-la-la!
But soon settles — he’s so endearing,
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!

Clean and quiet when he’s resting,
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!
Good with girlie greys — he’s charming,
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!

Looking for a fun family,

He’ll steal your heart, oh so craftily,

Dec is a sweet boy who just loves everyone. He can be strong on the lead to start but is really starting to learn his manners thanks to our walkers.
Dec is really quiet and clean in the kennels and gets on amazingly with a girl. He’d love a home with a good mix of energy and calm.
