Vacancy: Chair for the Trustee Board, 63rd Derby Scout Group

We are looking for a new Chair for the Trustee Board, 63rd Derby Scout Group. You don’t need to be Scout leader or have previous Trustee experience to apply.

We’re looking for someone who can bring people together and continue to help our Trustee Board operate. A vital behind the scenes role, our Trustees make sure Scouts runs smoothly, safely, and legally.

We’re also looking to hold our AGM on Friday 20 November during the Scouts section meeting, where we hope to appoint the new chair.

You can find out more about the role here https://volunteeringopportunities.scouts.org.uk/ #/vacancydetail/213fcd5f-1917-4f31-93dd-68a6a4ab762a

If you’re interested or know someone who might - please share or get in touch.

We had an excellent Saturday Social on Saturday - lots to talk about and good to catch up on news. I noticed that the rowan tree in our Scouts Hall grounds is laden with berries so I thought I'd share a photo with you, together with one from earlier in the year full of blossom. This tree is part of the Queen's Green Canopy to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee. Enjoy!
