We have our fingers crossed but it looks like our sun dance worked and we are going to have a lovely day on Sunday. 🌞

Hopefully not too hot for our runners though and although we have a water station at the 7k mark remember to bring water with you and keep yourself hydrated.

The childrens races start at 10am and is one lap round the park (4k) with medals for the winners and goodie bags for all runners . 'coach ' Jamie will be organising them so listen out for his announcements on the day.

Skirt the Skeith 21st June

You have until Friday at 23.59 to sign up for our annual 12k run on entry central.
We did try the sun dance but it looks like we might have got a few wrong moves and inadvertantly done a rain dance, sorry folks 🌦
Hey ho we should be used to that now, but Im sure the roll and slice, medal and T shirt will make it all worth while.

The kids races will start at 10 once the main runners have left the park, so just come on the day and enjoy the fun and goodie bags

SKIRT THE SKEITH 12K Dalry
Sunday 21st of June 10-12noon

To our lovely neighbours in Dalry and surrounding areas we are notifying you of our 12k community road run which is being held on Sunday 21st June starting and finishing at the Dalry Public Park.
We hope we will not disrupt your day as we will be temporarily stopping traffic to let the runners cross the road at bottom of Court Hill Street and bottom of Blair Road assisted by our good friends Gilbert traffic management. 🚦
We will have a safety car behind the runners so please do not overtake as it's there to protect them.
We hope you will join us to cheer on and motivate the runners as it is a very hilly route .

A map of the route is included therefore you may prefer to use the bypass as an alternative route between 10am and 12 noon.

As well as our 'Skirt the Skeith' 12k we are holding our yearly childrens races. You just need to come along on the day and let us know you want to run.
The races will start at 10am just after the skirt the skeith runners leave the park.
There are medals for the winners and goody bags for all runners.
Age groups are:
4-6 yrs
7-9 yrs
10-12 yrs
13 +
