Dora the Explorer has left us!
She has been preparing her elderly self to go and last night took her leave, most gently, curled up in bed with Wenda.
Dora was born here. Her Mother, Woll, came from a building site in north London with her grandfather, who used to fight foxes. Woll gave birth two kittens; Dora the Explorer and her brother, Yoda.
Dora is the last of that little group.
We miss her. The new kittens miss her and the rest of the many house cats miss her but we are so very grateful for having known her and being able to watch her live the life she chose.

Our thanks to the Rankines for their generous donation of 4+ of many of the herbs and rabbit treats on our Amazon Wish List. Zoopharmacognosy is now guaranteed through Summer.

I will replenish our List over the weekend as the hot weather is creating shortages and urgent needs in many items.

The kittens are growing! They have discovered the roof space and spend their days up there playing in the coolness.
When the others come down for food, Spike, the only black and white kitten, lays just out of reach, looking at us from all different angles.
