Cadets on Duty at Marionville Fire Station!
Last night, 1739 teamed up with our friends from 297 Musselburgh Squadron, RAF Air Cadets, 2466, and 142 Trinity Squadron - Royal Air Force Air Cadets 1143 - Portobello Squadron Air Training Corps Squadrons for a fantastic visit to Marionville Fire Station.
Our cadets had the opportunity to meet the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Police Scotland Edinburgh.
Operational Support and Road Traffic Unit’s kindly demonstrated their specialist equipment and shared valuable insights into their work keeping our communities safe, We also got to speak to special constables from the North East Support Team and Leith community constables.
Blue Watch provided an in-depth tour of their appliance, water rescue kit, and the wide range of lifesaving operational equipment they use every day.
A huge thank you to our own CI Gloc who’s is also a serving police constable for organising this brilliant experience, and to the emergency services teams for giving our cadets such an engaging and memorable night.
