A couple of months ago we were so disappointed that a gig we'd been asked to play was cancelled (through no fault of our own). Anyway, we've decided to put on our own and in less than 2 weeks we'll be playing at The Wee House at the old primary school (now the stunning Rocks and Wheels Hub). We're making it a small and intimate gig but it would be nice if we could fill it so, if you could, would you mind spreading the word, please? It would help so much. Tickets are currently only available online but, if there are still some left on the day of the gig, we'll make these available to purchase at the door. Thanks to Maria at Rocks & Wheels for giving us the go ahead. Hope to see you there.

We’re celebrating a fantastic summer of community use as work continues towards the full opening of Rocks and Wheels in 2027.

A summer sneak peek has given you the opportunity to experience a foretaste of what Rocks and Wheels will offer, with our UCI-standard pump track proving a particular hit. We’ve welcomed riders of all ages over the summer, while the café has also been busy with people coming through the doors to enjoy a range of tasty treats and refreshments. The cafe and pump track will be open 1–4pm Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the October holidays, so hopefully see you there!

🚲 Pump Track Access

Now, as the seasons change, we’re preparing for the next phase of development, with autumn and winter providing an important opportunity to complete essential external works ahead of the site's full opening in 2027. This means the much-beloved pump track will temporarily close ***after the October holidays*** to allow ground works to take place.

🪨 Bouldering Wall to Open for Limited Sessions

There is still plenty happening at Rocks and Wheels this autumn, with the full height bouldering wall set to open for limited early sessions from Monday.

These bouldering sessions continue Rocks and Wheels' strong focus on community involvement and volunteering, with volunteers taking on the role of floor walkers. A team of volunteers has already been having fun training for the role, helping to ensure visitors have a welcoming and safe experience on the wall.

➡ Fancy giving bouldering a go this October holiday? Come and try out the wa’ at Rocks and Wheels! ⬅

📅 Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the October holidays – same as the cafe and pump track!
⏰ 1–4pm (one session per day)
🎟️ Introductory offer: £12 per session

👟 We’re currently waiting for our delivery of rentable climbing shoes so in the meantime we’re requesting clean indoor trainers.

Booking essential – send us an email at [email protected]. We look forward to welcoming you!

Future bouldering sessions and upcoming coaching sessions will be announced through Rocks and Wheels’ newsletter, social media channels and website as the autumn programme gets underway.
